My role is like being an interpreter. I help AFSL owners who are struggling to understand and apply legislation, because they can’t figure out how to bridge the gap between regulator expectations and the reality of giving advice. Understanding what the regulator wants, is all about interpretation.
My role is to provide confidence that if the regulator knocks on the door, risk has been mitigated as much as possible. I like to say that we see ourselves as the eyes and ears for danger – we see it before others do. For us, it’s hiding in plain sight.

Melissa Magro Compliance Assistant
You’ll speak to me first. My role is to support our clients as the first point of contact, so you’ll probably speak to me a lot. I’m also a key support for the team, so they can provide support to you throughout the year. This means keeping the back office organised is my domain. I make sure that information is exactly where it should be.
I love being organised. Which is why I’ll be helping you get prepared for your quarterly meetings, audits and any other important licensee meetings. You'll have the right paperwork, so that we make sure things go smoothly. I’ll also be the one to get a time in the diary with the team if needed.
